    Plant Manager (FMCG)

    Job Responsibilities

    • Ensure that the factory staff are well educated on the importance of safety standards, and therefore work towards a risk free and zero accident environment. Through the plant managers, ensure that the safety culture improves and adherence to safety guidelines/ rules and procedures occurs
    • Work with the plants to ensure that they have the right balance of skills/ structure/ people capability in place that will progress the performance of our factories. Furthermore, ensure that the plant managers drive defined continuous development initiatives of their people within the plants
    • Ensure adherence to Quality, Environmental Health and Safety requirements of the Organization
    • Accountable for the meeting and exceeding of operational performance and financial targets as set by the Managing Director/Business Development Manager
    • Continually monitor and review manufacturing performance against agreed objectives and take necessary actions where appropriate
    • Ensure that there is a clear set of action plans for each departmental target with clear resources and budgets to achieve.
    • Be aware of and where appropriate contribute to business plans
    • Develop plans to improve the sites manufacturing and technical performance
    • Liaise with the other departments to ensure that finance targets, delivery schedules, quality and market needs are achieved
    • The person in this role needs to be known, first and foremost, for leading with integrity and helping to build an open and engaging culture based on trust, a sense of ownership and responsibility and respect.

    Requirements

    • Degree in Production / Engineering discipline
    • 7 - 10 years’ Demonstrable experience, ideally but not limited, experience within manufacturing environment.
    • Environmental Qualification or Experience
    • Budgeting
    • Proactive Management Activities
    • Experience in a continuous manufacturing, process or production environment
    • Experience of operating with formal quality systems
    • Thorough knowledge of business process (forecasting, sales reports, presentation skills, supply chain)
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Good planning and organisational skills
    • Analytical thinking and problem-solving logic.

    IT Supervisor

    Job Description

    • The IT supervisor will be responsible for planning, designing and setting up of Network Operation Center and management of network infrastructure with regular monitoring of network availability and Troubleshooting to diagnose network issues for both hardware and software.
    • He will also be responsible for audit and continuous improvement/continuous development of information security policies and infrastructure with knowledge in Enterprise solution management as well as generating performance backups and reports for critical ERP solutions.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of B.Sc. in Computer Science or related field; Master’s Degree is an added advantage
    • At least 7 years in a reputable corporate organization.
    • Professional IT certifications in requisite skill areas and applications is a must.

    Storekeeper (Pharmaceutical Experience)

    Job Description

    • Responsible for the maintenance of maximum and minimum stocks, the operation of an accounting system, the maintenance of inventory records, the preparation of material orders, and the receiving, inspecting, and storing of supplies disbursed on job orders and material transfers.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Exercise general control over all activities in Stores.
    • Ensure safe keeping both as to quality and quantity of materials.
    • Maintain accurate inventory records.
    • Receive and store documents and confidential files; maintain record of approved documents and confidential files.
    • Receive and inspect all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders; process and distribute documentation with purchase orders
    • Reserve a particular material for a specific job when so required and issue materials only in required quantities against authorized requisition notes/material lists.
    • Check the book balances, with the actual physical stock at frequent intervals by way of internal control over wrong issues, pilferage, etc.
    • Monitor and pro‐actively take action in response to site needs/ requests for Pharmaceutical materials.
    • Anticipate and proactively elevate potential challenges/problems.
    • Answers questions regarding procedures and resolve discrepancies regarding receipts, deliveries, warranties,and surplus supply.
    • Assisting with input into the stores computer and occasionally placing purchase orders on the instruction of the Procurement Officer or in his absence.
    • Maintaining the outside area of the stores and yard in a safe clean and tidy condition.

    Educational Qualifications

    • B.Sc / HND in any field

    Experience / Skills Required:

    • 3-5 years of Warehousing/store management experience in pharmaceutical company.
    • Have a working knowledge of store control, inventory control and related duties.
    • Have good knowledge of receiving and dispatching of goods.
    • Good reasoning skills; communication skills; multi-tasking skills and organizational skills
