    Procurement Officer

    Job Description
    Candidate's Profile:

    • Our ideal candidate must have knowledge of procurement and stock keeping. Must be analytical, pay attention to details, have good vendor relationship and management skill.

    Job Objective (s)

    • To manage the procurement of the bank items/stocks and ensure quality and prompt delivery of items.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure all fixed assets and non-fixed asset request are processed using accredited vendors of the bank.
    • Ensure quality and delivery of resources within TAT.
    • Ensure all requests are duly approved in line with the empowerment policy of the bank. 
    • Seek reliable vendors that can provides quality goods and services at reasonable prices.
    • Ensure all purchases are within the budget thereby achieving cost savings.
    • Adhere to quality procedures and standards and oversee purchasing administration such that all the bank's policies and standards are upheld.
    • Ensure a comprehensive system for allocating and reconciling purchase orders 
    • Compile accurate stock records, and maintain proper records of requisition and replenishment transactions.
    • Maintain good working relationship with suppliers and vendors.
    • Regular price revalidation and negotiation is carried out to ensure up to date pricing.
    • An updated price schedule for various resources bought by the bank is maintained.
    • Initiate the payment process after physical confirmation of the delivery of procured resources by vendors.
    • Invite internal control to physically inspect procured items that have been delivered.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in any field.
    • 2-3 years related experience.

    Team Member, Travel Operations

    Job Objective(s)

    • To provide seamless services in terms of ticketing, estacode processing, hotel reservation and vendor payments.

    Responsibilities

    • Issue travel tickets and process payments to vendors.
    • Manage emergency changes/cancellations in a professional and calm manner. 
    • Handle all incoming travel requests and other processes.
    • Register all travel requests consummated (local, international, executive benefit, expatriation, relocation, etc) with necessary details. 
    • Keep record of flight selection and unused ticket dashboard. 
    • Prepare necessary documents for payment of per diem to staff embarking on approved business trips abroad (regional and international).
    • Keep records of estacode processed and updating of estacode dashboard. 
    • Book hotel accommodation for expatriates, bank visitors and staff on official assignment where necessary.
    • Log all invoices and ensure payments are made to vendors. 
    • Track payments to ensure payments are made to the appropriate beneficiary as instructed on the invoice. 
    • Maintain a dashboard for vendor’s payment.

    Qualifications

    • B.Sc in Accounting or related field.
    • ICAN or related certification is an added advantage.
    • 3 - 4 years related experience.

    Candidate's Profile:

    • We are looking for a candidate who has knowledge of accounting and hospitality management.
    • Our ideal candidate must be analytical, pay attention to details with at least 3 years related experience.

    Knowledge & Skills Required:

    • Familiarity with domestic and foreign travel destinations.
    • Knowledge of the Bank’s policies on Travel.

    • Cost management.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint
    • Customer service skills.
    • Organization skills.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Communication & interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to develop and promote team spirit.
