• Receiving / sending of radio / telex / Inmarsat messages through VHF, HF radios and T[1]1200 telex computer information.
• Transmitting platform management with all received information and send messages on daily data reports.
• Handling of logistics matters and confidential information.
• Makes travel arrangements for travellers on the platform.
• Platform / personnel management.
• Preparing daily offshore personnel off duty and resumption duty sheet.
• Computer / daily entering processing.
• Systems operation.
• Enhancement of surveillance and the use of lighting, surveillance and detection equipment, crew responses, to detect potential incident using the radio alarm procedures.
• Preparation of reports after an incident or near-miss.
• Ensuring early detection of a possible incident as the most effective deterrence under the CONTRACT.
• Ensuring early detection by surveillance boat and or radar onboard platform.
• Ensuring physical protection on platform to delay incident.
• Ensuring safety procedure to stop the industrial process.
• Mustering all personnel on board to a safe room.
• Any other task assigned by Client through any of its representatives.

Description

• The prime objective for the Fixed Equipment Strategy Specialist is to co-ordinate and facilitate fixed equipment strategy development for the site. The role also provides materials engineering support for routine and turnaround activities for the site.
• Manages the facility-wide maintenance function to ensure the availability of safe, responsive, high quality, repair and maintenance services including preventive, routine, non-routine and emergency capabilities.
• Provide necessary development, motivation, coordination and internal cooperation for groups/individuals under his/her control in order to maximize efficiency.

Job Requirements

• 10+ years of closely related professional experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering within discipline or equivalent professional experience
• Strong knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria.
• Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
• Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communication.
• Experience with piping, process, pipeline and chemicals integrity programs required.
