    Regional Sales Manager (Metering Company

    Description

    Deloitte Human Capital Consulting West Africa is currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager on behalf of its client in the power and utilities industry. The candidate is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing sales teams, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. Also, the candidate will analyze market trends, identify new opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversees the entire business operations of the allocated region within the disco coverage in line with the organization's corporate strategy.
    • Develop a business strategy to ensure the region meets and exceeds monthly and annual targets for grid and off-grid meter sales.
    • Identify new opportunities for product sales maintain product catalogues and support the sales targets.
    • Pursue sales leads; visit existing and newly developed customers across the allocated sales network.
    • Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services.
    • Responsible for quoting products, and order booking to achieve sales targets for assigned areas.
    • Drive community engagement sessions across all the network coverage to facilitate meter sales.
    • To drive the campaign of product technical knowledge and orientation for the end users.
    • Collaborate with the bid management team to ensure compliance with Disco requirements during proposal submissions.
    • Highlight after-sales support issues across the network coverage and follow up with meters’ maintenance unit to fix those complaints.
    • Develop Business to Government strategy to sell meters to states.
    • Develop new business initiatives to grow sales and revenue in the region.
    • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the organization.
    • Report to the head of business development on daily and weekly tasks and achievements

    Requirements

    • HND or BSC graduate in any discipline.
    • Minimum of 10 years' work experience in sales or business development with 5 years of power sector experience.
    • Knowledge of the advanced metering infrastructure.
    • Basic Knowledge of shipment terms, logistics and commercial knowledge.
    • Proven experience in business development within the Advanced Metering Infrastructure space.
    • Familiarity with scheme guidelines and AMI requirements.
    • Strong understanding of smart metering technologies and solutions.

    On behalf of our client, an Agro-Commodity Trading company, we are recruiting for the role of Head of Performance Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing performance management systems and processes that align with the organization's goals and objectives. The Head of Performance Management will be responsible for setting performance standards, defining key performance indicators (KPIs), and establishing performance evaluation methods. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Monitor and evaluate performance of employees and teams, ensure goals and objectives meet. 
    • Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify areas for improvement. 
    • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance-related matters. This includes coaching managers on effective performance management techniques, assisting in the development of performance improvement plans, and addressing performance-related issues. 
    • Organize and deliver training programs on performance management for managers and employees.  
    • Analyze performance data and generate reports to track and communicate performance trends and outcomes.  
    • Continuously review and improve the performance management process to ensure its effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals.  
    • Stay updated on industry best practices and implementing new strategies and tools.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in performance management, talent management, or a related discipline.
    • Strong understanding of performance management principles, practices, and methodologies.
    • Experience designing and implementing performance management programs and tools.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
    • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
