    Site Cost Controller

    Job summary/Role description

    • To execute all the activities relevant to the cost control within a project of any size and complexity, under the guidance of the Cost Control Coordinator, in compliance with Company’s quality requirement, the Project Execution Plan and in full accordance with the Company’s standard methodologies and procedure.
    • To be accountable, for execution of the assigned duties within the day-by-day activities of the Cost Control team, in full co-ordination with the Cost Control team members.

    Duties and responsibilities

    In particular, the Cost Control Coordinator is responsible during the execution phase of the project to:

    • Assist the Project Control Manager during the “Handing over Meeting” endorsing the backup documentation prepared during the bidding phase for the Project, being active part during the analysis of data in terms of structures, congruities and traceability.
    • Develop the Original Budget after the handover of the Commercial one received during the
    • “Handing over meeting”.
    • Develop the first revision of the cost production and cash-flow curves of the project, in order to provide the data to Project Finance for the setup of Project Derivatives.
    • Establish, within the Cost Control System, the project Organization Scheme (Joint Ventures,
    • Consortium, etc.) with the details data as per standard CBS.
    • Ensure full and autonomous knowledge of the necessary Company Tools to the role, such as Project Objects, SAP, Marian, Capital Project.
    • Set up and implement the Project “Invoicing Register” as per Company procedures and Department’s standard.
    • Set up and organize / manage the Project activities workflow as defined in relevant Company’s Procedure, assigning specific activities to the Cost Control team mobilized in Home Office, other Project Operating Centers (when applicable) and Site.
    • Develop the Invoicing Procedure in accordance with the Contractual requirements as per O&M Manager and Project Control Manager indications.
    • Assist the Project Control Manager during the assessment of the “Estimate to Complete” for Project Phases.
    • Assist the Project team during the evaluation of the Accruals cost for each Project Phases.
    • Perform the periodical control activities to assess the project forecasts in terms of revenues, costs and profitability evidencing any deviations versus the Original/Revised Budget to the Project Control Manager.
    • Support the Project Team and the Risks Analysis team to evaluate costs impact and the contingency allocation due to potential variations (Scope of Work, Change order, Contract variations, etc.).
    • Support the Contract Manager in evaluating cost impact connected with both internal and external changes.

    The Cost Control Engineer is responsible to:

    • PSR (Project Status Report)
    • Cost Control Report
    • Monthly prorated costs/revenues
    • Cash Flow
    • Site Cost Control Report
    • Grant a proactive approach as part of the Project Team oriented to the fulfillment of the project objectives.

    Cost Control Senior Engineer

    Job summary/Role description

    Subcontract Administrator

    Job summary/Role description

    • Subcontract coordinator is responsible for developing and negotiating subcontracts, arranging payments and analyzing sales records. Using administrative expertise and contract-management skills, he/she evaluates performance of subcontractors and monitor supply changes with their company.

    Duties and responsibilities

    He/she has the following responsibilities:

    • Acquaints himself with project requirements of Project Execution Plan (PEP).
    • Prepares the Project Subcontracting Procedure (PCSP).
    • Participates in the preparation of the Work Breakdown Structure and Project Subcontracting Plan and Strategy, get approvals and issue where applicable.
    • Participates in the preparation of the Project Subcontractors and Bidders Lists, gets approvals and issues.
    • Takes appropriate care to ensure that Work Requisitions and price list quantities from Technical Disciplines, Work Scope Definition from Discipline, schedules and budgets from Project Control are timely received. Notify immediately Project Director/Project Manager of any delay.
    • Reviews and comments the Work Requisition(s) and Work Scope(s) (respectively issued by the Technical Disciplines) before Bids inquiry issue and before formal Subcontract issue.
    • Prepares Bids inquiry in accordance with Project Subcontracting Procedure and Project Execution Plan, get approvals and issue.
    • Performs bids opening procedure in accordance with Project Subcontracting Procedure.
    • Reviews, signs and gets approvals of preliminary Economical Bids Evaluation.
    • Assists and expedites Work Requisition(s) originator.
    • Performs commercial clarifications with Bidders to ensure compliance with General/Special Subcontract Conditions and Project requirements.
    • Meets with Bidders for preliminary and final negotiations to ensure compliance with budget and schedule, properly record meetings.
    • Reviews, signs and gets approvals of intermediate and final Economical Bids Evaluation.
    • Prepares Letters of Award (LOA) and formal Subcontracts, gets approvals and issues.
    • Ascertains formal acceptance of LOA and formal Subcontracts by Subcontractors.
    • Keeps Subcontracts Administration Manager, Head of Department and PD/PM informed of all critical areas and recommend corrective actions.
    • Reviews and issues the Project Inquiry Status Summary and the Project Subcontracts List.
    • Assist, as required, for TCM proposals activities.
    • Assures during tender stage that all commercial information, in particular prices, are kept strictly confidential within Subcontract personnel assigned to the Project and other authorized personnel.
    • Assures performance of subcontracting activities in accordance with Project Subcontracting Procedure and Project Execution Plan.

    QC Inspector

    Job summary/Role description

    • Senior Inspector provides on-site coordination for all phases of Non-Destructive Tests and Static Equipment Inspection phase, including coordinating subcontractors, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.
    • Superintendent shall be responsible for scheduling, inspections, quality control, and job site safety.

    Construction Quality Group Leader

    Job summary/Role description

    • The Project QA/QC Coordinator is responsible for developing the Quality Management System for the assigned Project and guaranteeing the related application by the project team during all project phases, in compliance with the corporate System for Management of Quality, the contractual requirements and in line with project schedule and budget.

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Develop the project Quality Management System, in compliance with the corporate Quality System, with the contractual requirements and with the applicable regulations and local normative, ensuring the preparation of the Project Quality and Site Quality plans, the related procedures and the Project Quality Audit Schedule, in coordination with the PD/PM; monitor the implementation and effectiveness of the project quality plans during the project execution, also at Site (for example through Project inspections);
    • Guarantee that the project staff are fully familiar with the Project’s Quality System.
    • Manage the project procedures, especially in relation to coordination, control of variations, control of documentation, tested for compliance with the Project Quality Plan.
    • Ensure the performance and surveillance on the quality activities for the assigned projects, in line with the schedule and assigned budget, as well as the implementation of any improvement or corrective actions, when needed, in coordination with the relevant Project “key” roles.
    • Interface with the Client and with Third Parties for all topics regarding quality, in coordination with the O&M Manager.
    • Manage the performance of the Audits with Vendors and Subcontractors, when required.
    • Gather information on the progress of the primary quality indicators required for the monitoring of the Project.
    • Collect evaluation elements for the operation of the project management system (for example identifying any organizational or procedural defect, analyzing critical points, …) and formulate and promote actions for improvement with the O&M Manager and the project team and/or other relevant company Functions.
