Job Summary:

• We are seeking a qualified Statutory Manager to oversee all statutory remittances, including PAYE, WHT, VAT, Pension, and NSITF.
• The successful candidate will lead the department responsible for ensuring timely and accurate statutory payments and will manage all statutory audits.
• This role requires a deep understanding of regulatory compliance and financial reporting standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the processing of statutory remittances, including PAYE, WHT, VAT, Pension, NSITF, and other relevant obligations.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations and deadlines.
• Lead and coordinate statutory audits, working closely with auditors and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate records of statutory payments and filings.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities to resolve any statutory-related issues or queries.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN or ACCA certification is required).
• At least 5 years of experience in managing statutory remittances and audits.
• Strong understanding of local tax laws and statutory regulations.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lesson Delivery: Plan and deliver well-structured lessons in Mathematics and Further Mathematics that foster critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Curriculum Development: Contribute to the design and implementation of a curriculum that meets educational standards and encourages mathematical exploration.
• Student Assessment: Regularly assess students' progress through quizzes, tests, and assignments, providing constructive feedback.
• Classroom Management: Create an engaging learning environment that supports student participation and discipline.
• Mathematical Exploration: Introduce students to a range of mathematical theories and practical applications.
• Professional Growth: Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with educational trends and best teaching practices.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field. A teaching qualification is an advantage.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Mathematics and/or Further Mathematics.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for teaching mathematics.
