    Training Assistant

    Job Summary

    • The primary aim of the position is to assist and support the training team in administration, logistics, finance, procurement and general management of the training programmes conducted in Nigeria.
    • Our ideal candidate will be highly organized, have experience working with raining programmes, and be willing to learn.
    • The candidate will be outgoing, motivated and self-directed, taking initiative when needed.

    Major Responsibilities

    • Assist the training manager in the planning, budgeting, logistics, administration, and management of the training programme.Interface directly with internal support staff and stakeholders on all matters related to administration, logistics, finance, and procurement for training events.
    • Manage day to day correspondence, reports, and other documents related to the training programme.
    • Advertise training courses, compile and Organise all trainee applications.
    • Prepare attendance rosters and assist in the planning & preparation for courses under the supervision of the training manager.Manage and maintain an inventory of serviceable training supplies, materials, and equipment, including safe storage and accountability.Assist in the preparation, compilation, recording and filing of post-training reports and evaluations with lessons learned and analysis.
    • Assist the training manager in the day to day running of the country programme and training sessions and provide support to operations where required.

    Mandatory Requirements

    • Post Secondary Diploma in a relevant field
    • Efficient use of Microsoft Office programmes (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)Excellent working knowledge of English (spoken and written)Demonstrable experience in administration, logistics, budgeting and procurementExceptional organisational and time management skills; able to work independentlyWillingness to learn and ability to work in a fast paced, multi-cultural and close-knit team to deliver tangible results on a deadlineExcellent communication skills with the ability to interact with different kind of interlocutors

    Preferred Characteristics:

    • At least 1 year experience working in a training institution.

    Static & Rotating Equipment Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical)

    Responsibilities

    • Work un-supervised assembling and tightening bolted joints.
    • Correctly use bolt tensioning, torgueing, nut splitting and flange spreading equipment.
    • Carries out the required number of bolting specialism to a competent standard.
    • Adhere to safe and specified pressures when tightening or torgueing joints.
    • Assess specific task requirements including identifying potential hazards through the use of risk assessments.
    • Accurate and timely competition and submission of all job related documentation including flange tightening reports/joints completion certificates, customer time sheets and expenses forms.
    • Work closely with other disciplines on site to ensure the professional and safe completion of all tasks.
    • Interfaces with the client on site in a professional manner and represent our company to the highest standards at all times.
    • Work predominantly within all onshore and offshore environment.
    • Adheres to all site related procedures and processes including permit to work.etc.
    • Carry out all duties with a “safety first” attitude towards the equipment and working environmental.
    • Maintains company quality, safety and environment standards.
    • Take action and cooperate by ensuring the consistent quality of products and service to customers.

    Qualifications

    • OND in Mechanical Engineering or National Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent.
    • Not less than 10 years in Maintenance in Oil and Gas industry.
