    Zonal Coordinator, North

    Job Summary

    • Overall management responsibility for sales, customer service, and administration of stations and express centres within the zone.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Select, direct, train, develop, discipline and evaluate staff, visit all offices regularly to ensure an adequate, well-trained staff at all times.
    • Prepare market research and feasibility studies of expanding business opportunities, assess and recommend additional, expanded or improved facilities to accomplish sales objectives.
    • In coordination with the Regional Manager, establish sales goals and ensure, within agreed budgetary limitations, the attainment of annual revenue, shipment and debt collection targets.
    • Develop sales strategies, monitor sales activities, and liaise with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction. Direct and assist Sales Executives, Station Heads and Station Supervisors in addressing clients’ queries or complaints.
    • Review ground and air operations procedures and recommend modifications which may lead to improved efficiency, cost-control and productivity.
    • Monitor performance of CSRs, couriers, operations and administrative staff, to ensure that proper procedures are followed in meeting objectives, maintaining high service standards and projecting the desired company image.
    • Establish and maintain excellent communications with company staff as well as clients, liaise with company staff from all departments as well as the company nationwide to ensure well-coordinated service delivery process;
    • Monitor sales reports, record keeping and commission programs.
    • Review fleet utilization, ensure that fleet requirements are adequately met and vehicles are properly maintained and conform to company image and maintenance program requirements.
    • Lead and promote a spirit of harmonious interrelationships between customers and all members of staff, maintain neat and tidy working environments and positive staff morale.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc./HND in Business Administration/Marketing or its equivalent.
    • Any Post-graduate qualification is a plus
    • Minimum of 8 (eight) years post qualification experience in similar position.
    • Customer-focused approach with emphasis on honesty, integrity, and quality service.
    • Ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization and with external partners .
    • Innovative in transforming ideas into actionable plans that enhance both culture and capability.
    • Commitment to social responsibility within the company's operational sphere.
    • Entrepreneurial mindset, adaptable to change, and adept at handling stress.
    • Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

    Distribution Management System Operator

    Job Summary 

    • This role is responsible for efficiently managing and optimising the distribution network.
    • This role encompasses overseeing inbound, outbound & logistics, maintaining real-time stock monitoring, generating purchase orders, and collaborating with sales teams to map territories.
    • The DMS Operator ensures the seamless flow of products and enhances supply chain performance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Inbound and Outbound Management - System vs. Actual

    • Monitor and manage the inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring the timely arrival of products and comparing expected schedules with actual deliveries.
    • Collaborate with suppliers and carriers to resolve discrepancies and maintain transparency in the supply chain.

    Purchase Order (PO) Management

    • Generate purchase orders based on inventory levels, reorder points, and demand forecasts.
    • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery of products and cost-effective procurement.

    Territory Mapping for Sales Representatives

    • Work closely with the sales team to efficiently map territories, considering geographic data, customer locations, and sales objectives.
    • Optimise sales representatives' routes to maximise productivity and minimise
    • travel time.

    Stock Monitoring

    • Continuously monitor stock levels and track inventory movements in real-time.
    • Establish and manage reorder points for products to maintain optimal stock levels.

    Flag Reorder Levels

    • Implement automated systems or tools to flag products for re-order when they
    • reach predetermined stock levels.
    • Generate timely alerts and notifications for re-ordering, minimising stockouts and
    • optimising inventory

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in distribution and logistics, ideally within the fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in utilising distribution management systems (DMS), software, and other supply chain tools.
    • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements in distribution.
    • Understanding of inventory management and procurement processes.
