    Human Resource Manager

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources functions within our organization.
    • The HR Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs to attract, retain, and develop top talent and foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

    Job Details

     Operations 

    • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with the company's goals and objectives.
    • Promote the Company's Core Values and Corporate Policies.
    • Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations, including wage and hour laws, safety regulations, and other employment-related laws.
    • Manage associate relations, including addressing grievances, conflicts, and other workplace issues.
    • Maintain accurate HR records, including associate files, attendance records, and other HR-related documents.
    • Management of all HR processes and projects, while providing guidance and support to managers and associates on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
    • Implementation of policies and initiatives in alignment with Group COEs
    • Conduct investigation and disciplinary when associate complaints or concerns are brought forward
    • Submission of monthly and quarterly HR reports

    Strategy

    • Participate in the annual operating planning sessions with business leaders to provide people-related strategic support. 
    • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, and procedures
    • Identify current and future business needs and formulate HR strategy and other action plans 

    Compliance

    • Oversee the health and safety of all associates
    • Ensure a cordial atmosphere and acceptable workplace practices for smooth industrial relations that will facilitate work processes
    • Liaise with the legal department in ensuring effective labour management/practices and ensure statutory compliances related to the Factory Act and other labour laws
    • Strict adherence and conformance to all FSSC and QMS requirements

     Talent Management

    • Formulate plans for meeting the Company’s manpower requirements and ensure proper utilization of existing human resources to meet organizational objectives
    • Manage manpower planning process and implementation of the manpower plans
    • Conduct orientation and onboarding for new associates in the company Partner with the business to identify the training needs of the existing workforce
    • Implement training interventions agreed with the Group Learning and Development Team
    • Manage the training budget for the business in conjunction with the Group Learning and Development Team
    • Coordinate the setting of KPIs in the business and the cascade to all associates in the business
    • Coordinate mid-year and year-end review processes
    • Coordinate the post-appraisal outcome exercises including, but not limited to, exit management, PIP process, AP special intervention, job rotation, etc
    • Manage and develop the HR team
    • Supervise timely and accurate salary/wage preparation and administration of all staffing categories 

    Other

    • Other duties as assigned

    Requirements

    Education and Years of Experience

    • First degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanities/Management
    • MBA/Masters in related field a plus
    • 10 -12 years’ experience in HR practice with at least 5 years in managerial or supervisory role
    • At least 5 years’ continuous experience in manufacturing (factory) operations
    • Must be a certified member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management 
    • Other certifications in HR will be and added advantage

    Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes

    • Good leadership skills
    • Familiarity with applicable state and federal Labour laws and regulations 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Conflict intervention and resolution skills
    • Ability to manage interpersonal relations at all levels within the organization 
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
    • Excellent organisational and time management skills
    • Excellent decision making and negotiation skills
    • Knowledge of HR Systems & Databases, plus Proficiency in soft tools and adaptability to new technology
