    Administrative Officer

    Job Summary:

    • To provide administrative support to ensure efficient operations and smooth communication between different individuals, teams, or sections. Job Family is also accountable for effective and accurate data management, filing, data analysis, and reporting.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintains proper data management, through multiple automated and hardcopy forms, as well as updates related registers
    • Schedules assigned appointments, meetings, and conferences; coordinates arrangements and logistics, flight bookings, and sets up meeting rooms; notifies meeting participants, takes minutes of meetings as required, and follows up action as requested.
    • Maintains an up-to-date filing system, copy typing, general correspondence, and distributes information and documentation as requested.
    • Carries out the filing and archiving tasks for the department, ensuring precision, accuracy, and adherence to the set standards.
    • Reaches out to internal and external entities as needed to collect information, opinions, feedback, and reactions through a variety of tools, such as phone calls, meetings, forms, surveys, minutes of meetings, etc. Compiles this data and reports to superiors.
    • Examines and analyses data, prepares and submits ad-hoc or periodic reports to individuals, teams, or as requested by superiors.
    • Provides administrative support to different functions and teams as requested including booking local and international travel reservations for employees and managing their itinerary.
    • Prepares and updates spreadsheets, documents, reports, systems, and presentations using the Microsoft Office suite.
    • Comply with the implementation of departmental policies and procedures, to ensure that all relevant procedural and legislative requirements are fulfilled.

    Academic Qualifications/Skills Requirements.

    • B.sc/HND Business Administration or similar field)
    • 1 to 2 years experience within a similar industry.
    • ­Expertise in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
