    HR Manager

    Job Description

    • The HR Manager is responsible for developing and driving the Organization and People agenda; Talent management, Reward, Organization Effectiveness and Employee Engagement to enable business performance year on year

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Create strategic and effective workforce plan; attraction and recruitment, succession planning and pipelining. Ensuring the right people with the right capabilities are in roles
    • Develops methods to improve employment policies, processes, and practices and recommend changes to management
    • Champion best practices in the employee experience across the employee lifecycle, leveraging data and insights
    • Work closely with the supervisors to understand organizational challenges and design/implement creative solutions, and proactively provide support and coaching on strategic HR priorities
    • Support line managers to cultivate a high-performance culture, and ensure that performance management experiences are effective and empowering, prioritizing fairness and objectivity
    • Develop and implement workforce retention, career and succession strategies.
    • Connect staff to compelling learning and development opportunities, mentorship, coaching for performance and growth, advising on career opportunities
    • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
    • Develop training and development programs for all staff
    • Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal/regulatory compliance
    • Drive programs and policies to ensure Talent Acquisition and retention

    Requirements and skills

    • 5 years of proven work experience in HR and 1 year in a leadership position
    • Knowledge of HR functions (Recruitment, organizational development, Employee engagement etc.
    • BSc/BA in Human Resources, Business administration, relevant field; further
    • CIPM /SPHRI/SHRM certification will be an added advantage
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, stellar emotional intelligence with a specific focus on self-moderation, cultivating relationships and empathy
    • Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
    • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
    • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
    • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
    • Strong experience in Performance Mgt, Culture and embedding effective HR processes.
