    HR Associate

    The Role

    • The HR Associate, as a part of the Eden HR team, will provide support across multiple HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, and data management.
    • We are seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented individual with a genuine passion for human resource management to join our team. 
    • This is a hybrid role in Lagos.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in any course.
    • 1-2 years of HR experience in a fast-paced multicultural environment.
    • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
    • Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in Google Workspace.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and corresponding with candidates.
    • Coordinate and conduct new employee onboarding sessions and ensure a smooth onboarding process from pre-boarding to onboarding conclusion
    • Own month to month payroll administration and accurate records keeping
    • Assist in the development, implementation, and drive of HR policies and procedures.
    • Maintain employee records and ensure demographic data accuracy in HRIS (Human Resource Information System).
    • Own the administration of employee benefits and work tools.
    • Support employee relations initiatives by addressing employee questions and concerns, conducting investigations, and assisting with conflict resolution.
    • Assist in the development and delivery of training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
    • Assist with HR reporting and analytics, including compiling HR metrics and preparing reports for team lead.
    • Support employee engagement initiatives through employee events coordination, team-building activities, surveys, and other measures.
    • Conduct extensive research on HR initiatives and stay up to date with current industry trends.
    • Perform other HR-related duties and projects as assigned.

    HR Business Partner

    The Role

    • The HRBP as a part of the Eden HR team will be responsible for HR-related systems and processes.
    • The core goal of this role is to understand gaps and opportunities around Homemade’s Human Resource approach in relation to Onboarding, Performance Management, Policy Implementation, Shift/Staffing Management, Culture + Engagement, and Payroll Administration; and design and execute strategies that take advantage of these opportunities or close gaps. 
    • *This is a hybrid role in Lagos.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in any course.
    • 3 years of HR experience in a fast-paced multicultural environment. Preferably within the hospitality industry.  
    • HR certification; PHR/SHRM-CP/CIPM
    • Knowledge and experience in policy development, L&D, performance management, payroll administration, change management, and culture management.
    • Strong analytical skills, proficient with spreadsheets and numbers.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into HR strategies and actions.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities.
    • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
    • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
    • The ability to think in systems and methods.
