    Retail Lead

    Job Purpose

    • The Retail Lead will oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail business in the state, ensuring smooth functioning, optimizing sales, and enhancing the overall customer experience.
    • You will lead and manage a team of RSA’s to ensure smooth acquisition and onboarding of retail partners on our platform.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Drive and champion sales initiative in the state.
    • Develop and nurture strong relationships with retail partners to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities.
    • Lead a high performing team of Retail Success Associates.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for key retail accounts, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.

    • 6  years of experience in leading retail management functions an FMCG distribution company or a related role in
    • Extensive experience with retail sales driven by field officers  
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering excellent customer service. 
    • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for building and maintaining positive relationships. 
    • Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools. 
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    Job Purpose

    • The Head, User Support would oversee our day-to-day user support operations, ensuring timely and effective resolution of user inquiries and issues.

    Quality Control / Quality Assurance Manager (User Commodities)

    Job Purpose

    • As the Quality Control/Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all commodities aggregated, supplied and traded by Sabi has zero quality defects, conforms with local and international quality and regulatory standards.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Manage the global commodity quality assurance approach one the commodity side.
    • Ensure QA/QC processes are in place and maintained properly.
    • Create Global quality guidelines and procedures for all commodities traded on TRACE (Sabi commodities trading platform)
    • Verify that specification provided by the client has been correctly understood.
    • Ensure compliance with government produce regulations.
    • Manage risks related to quality of commodities that belong to Sabi.
    • Manage interface with farmers/Aggregators/Off-takers and third-party testing laboratories.
    • Research and propose testing methods/mechanisms.
    • Draft testing annexes in consultation with third-party services providers.
    • Advise Commercial managers/Supply leads on necessary testing regimes.
    • Review and analyze third-party lab test results, factory audit reports and corrective action reports.
    • Liaise with suppliers/aggregators to find solutions and corrective measures to defective products.
    • Establish the quality management system and procedures
    • Review pre-shipment inspection and pre-shipment test reports.
    • End to end responsibility of Sabi product traceability plan and implementation

    Requirements Special Skills And Qualifications

    • Minimum of 5 years agronomic field experience in relevant commodities.
    • Qualification (Bsc, Msc or Diploma) or Standard training in Quality Assurance Management or related field.
    • Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (IS0 9000 etc.)
    • Knowledge of maintaining a robust QC/QA strategy
    • Experience in implementing a QA/QC program.
    • Knowledge of local and international quality/regulatory guidelines.
    • Proficiency in MS office.
