• The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge and understanding of financial principles and practice and experience working with Peachtree accounting software managing financial records and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and assistance in monthly management accounts, including completion of prepayments, accruals, fixed asset adjustments, and annual financial statements
• Weekly collation of sales reports and monthly reconciliation
• Completion of statutory filings and remittances to state government
• Monitor and analyze spend on budgets, producing reports on a regular basis
• Accounts Payable management, Sales ledger management, and general office administration
• General day-to-day processing of financial activities

Key Requirements:

• First degree in accounting or any related discipline
• 1-3 years of work experience in Retail or high inventory management business operation
• Strong proficiency with Peachtree accounting software
• Excellent technical, analytical, and reporting skills
• Rigorous, methodical, and well organized with excellent attention to detail
• Strong IT capabilities, detailed knowledge of the main Microsoft applications numeracy, and verbal skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure whilst prioritizing effectively
