Accountant at Oaks Intelligence

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts Payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare budget forecasts and financial statements in compliance with legal requirements
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure timely bank payments and manage tax payments and returns.
• Audit financial transactions and documents.
• Report on the company's financial health and liquidity.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month end/year-end close process.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like QuickBooks.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including Vlookups and pivot tables.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• BSc in Accounting, Finance, or relevant degree; additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus.
