    Assistant Event Producer

    Our client, an Event Management Company, is looking to hire an Assistant Event Producer who will be responsible for providing support to the Event Coordinator in planning and executing events. This includes a wide range of activities, such as coordinating vendors, organizing logistics, managing budgets, and communicating with stakeholders.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate in conceptualizing and planning events.
    • Source and liaise with event vendors, negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
    • Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, setup, and teardown.
    • Develop event budgets and track expenses.
    • Maintain regular communication with clients to update them, address concerns, and obtain necessary approvals.
    • On-site event co-ordination.
    • Coordinate guest registration to create a seamless experience.
    • Develop and manage event timeline.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and technical support, to ensure all event components align with the overall vision.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or HND in Mass Communication, Event Management, Hospitality, Project Management or a related field (preferred).
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in event planning or coordination.

    Must have skills

    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficiency in event planning and software tools.
    • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
    • Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Flexibility to work long hours, and travel as required for events.
