• Checking a client’s financial information, purchase and sales invoices, payroll records, bank balances and statements 
• Ensure sound knowledge of a client and its industry by researching background information 
• Develop communication skills and build relationships with key stakeholders. 
• He must be very good with numbers and pay attention to details
• He should be able to read between the lines and not take the data for granted
• He must be organized and hard-working, as the auditing process is a long process
