    BMS Control Project Engineer

    Job Summary: 

    • This role will be customer-facing in the pre-sale and post-sale environment and would require an understanding of customer needs.
    • This position is a key member of the engineering team that helps shape the company’s products and services.
    • Furthermore, the position is pivotal to our clients' technical accreditation and a significant investment is required by the BMS team to demonstrate correct competency levels to deliver projects effectively & professionally.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Managing higher Value and more complex projects.
    • Attend pre-construction meeting to assist development of client’s scope.
    • Assess plant information provided by client.
    • Software engineering and commissioning of systems.
    • Produce, alter, and amend graphics to suit client’s scope.
    • Produce Description of Operations.
    • Select building management components.
    • Project technical support.
    • Attend and hold client demonstrations.
    • Produce operational manuals.
    • Financial control of material ordering in conjunction with the Commercial Team. (This may involve quotes being obtained from the relevant suppliers.)
    • Ensure company information remains secure and confidential always.
    • Assessment of the project scope and technical implications of the drawings and specification documents.
    • Control of quality of work.
    • Work within company health and safety policies.
    • Work within a team and give instruction to the team.
    • To work responsibly and in compliance with the company policies, procedures, and terms of employment.
    • Mentoring and advising other junior staff.
    • Manages the company's Integrated Business Management System and the compliance with ISO Certification Standards.

    Requirements

    • A Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
    • Must have 5+ years of related experience.
    • Must have 5+ years’ experience of Honeywell systems and in a similar role
    • Expert Knowledge of applicable codes and regulations.
    • Excellent communication skills for interfacing with internal and external contacts.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple reviews and deadlines.
    • Responsive to changing demands.
    • Ability to rely on extensive experience and judgement to accomplish goals.
    • Ability to evaluate new approaches, systems and design solutions.
    • Ability to understand control panel design, manufacture, design, and testing.
    • Knowledge of instrumentation and integration to 3rd party systems.
    • Ability to modify strategies and experience of front-end graphics.
