    Brand Manager, Beverage and Confectionery

    Job Objective:

    As a Brand Manager for the Beverage and Confectionery category, you will be pivotal in driving our brand growth by developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns. Your focus will be understanding consumer motivations, positioning our brands effectively, and enhancing our market presence. You will collaborate closely with various departments to successfully implement brand strategies and achieve the company's market share objectives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute impactful marketing campaigns.
    • Conduct consumer and market research to shape brand strategies.
    • Amplify brand presence and awareness through creative strategies.
    • Measure and report on marketing campaign success.
    • Anticipate consumer trends to keep the brand relevant.
    • Create a renovation and innovation roadmap for the portfolio.
    • Manage brand budgets to prevent overspending.
    • Monitor and improve key growth metrics.
    • Collaborate with external providers and stakeholders.
    • Develop customer success strategies to drive retention.
    • Implement effective consumer and shopper support initiatives, aligning with brand positioning and channel strategies.
    • Lead annual budget planning for beverages and confectioneries.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field 
    • Minimum of 4 - 6 years of experience in FMCG, particularly in marketing or brand management.
    • Proven experience in mobile marketing tools and analytics platforms.
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
    • Creativity in developing and executing marketing campaigns.
    • Ability to think outside the box and explore innovative strategies.
    • Excellent organizational, project management and communication skills.
    • Familiarity with FMCG sales and marketing practices.
    • Ability to manage cross-functional teams through coaching and training.
    • Proficient in computer skills and understanding of supply chain management.
    • Strong commercial foresight and experience in P&L management.
    • Consumer-obsessed with the ability to identify market trends and key insights.
    • Location/ Scope: Ibadan (most preferred) or Lagos | Full-Time
