• We are seeking a proficient Chinese Translator who is fluent in Hausa and English to join our dynamic team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing accurate translations from Chinese to Hausa and English, ensuring clear and effective communication between parties.
• This role is essential for bridging language barriers and facilitating smooth interactions in various business and cultural contexts.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate written documents, verbal communications, and other materials from Chinese to Hausa and English, and vice versa.
• Assist in meetings, conferences, and negotiations by providing real-time interpretation services.
• Collaborate with various departments to support communication needs in multiple languages.
• Ensure that translations are accurate, culturally appropriate, and maintain the intended meaning.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
• Proofread and edit translations to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Assist in the creation of bilingual documents, presentations, and reports.
• Stay updated with linguistic trends, cultural nuances, and industry-specific terminologies.

Educations

• Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant discipline (e.g., Language Studies, International Relations, Business Administration, or related fields).
• Certification for Chinese or Mandarin Language.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in translation or interpretation services.
• Previous experience in a similar role, especially in a business or diplomatic environment, is highly desirable.

Required Skills:

• Fluency in Chinese, Hausa, and English.
• Must be Male
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent understanding of cultural contexts in both Chinese and Hausa-speaking regions.
• High attention to detail with the ability to deliver accurate translations.
• Proficiency in using translation tools and software is an advantage.
