Cost & Management Accountant at SecureID Limited

Responsibilities:

Job Duties/ Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

• Drive business value engineering and serve as strategic business partners in all financial-related matters.
• Responsible for business Performance evaluation and Functional units’ assessment scorecards.
• Work with the CFO to drive the annual budget sessions within set deadlines and design an effective budgeting system for the Company.
• Ensure Operating Expenditure and Capital Expenditure are within budget on a monthly and yearly basis, guarantee optimal returns on capital employed, effective, efficient, and optimal use of the company's assets with necessary safeguard Policy in place.
• Work closely with the CFO towards preparing an accurate cash flow budget to guide liquidity threshold, working capital management, and meeting operating and capital investments requirements without losing out on treasury management.
• Supervising the collation of budget submissions across profit and cost centers as well as preparation of budgets and financial forecasts by the management
• Drive business complete automation process and ensure optimization of business capital investment to improve overall business efficiency.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and Tax Consultants regarding tax issues regularly and ensure Zero tax exposure, and or issues.
• Drive all Statutory Audit requirements and responsible for Audited Financial Statements.

Educational & Professional Requirements

• A good university degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance
• An MBA will be an added advantage.
• ICAN, ACCA, and other relevant certifications as required.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience from a multinational  organization.

Competencies & Skills

• Proven working experience as a Financial Controller.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience with creating financial statements.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
