Job Requirements
Educational Qualification:
A Bachelor's Degree in English, Literature, Education, or a related field. A Master's degree is an added advantage.
Teaching Experience:
At least 2-3 years of teaching experience in English and Literature at the secondary school level. Experience with national and international curricula is preferred.
Certification:
Teaching certification or license is required. Additional professional development certifications in education or related fields are advantageous.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
Passion for Literature:
Strong knowledge and passion for English literature, including classical and contemporary works. Ability to inspire students to appreciate and analyze literary texts.
Adaptability and Creativity:
Ability to develop and implement innovative teaching methods and materials to cater to diverse learning styles and needs.
Location:
Applicants must be based in Ibadan or willing to relocate to Ibadan. Familiarity with the local culture and educational environment is a plus.
