    Event Center Manager

    The Event Center Manager is responsible for managing the operations of the event center. This role involves coordinating events, maintaining the facility, managing budgets, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The manager will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to plan and execute a wide range of events, including conferences, weddings, trade shows e.t.c.

    DUTIES AND  RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Liaise with clients to understand their event requirements and ensure all details are accurately captured.
    • Manages, receives and coordinates all bookings and rentals for the Event Center and monitors results.
    • Coordinate with caterers, event decorators  and other vendors to ensure timely delivery of services.
    • Ensure the event center is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and functionality.
    • Liaison with Operation manager in scheduling of staff to ensure adequate coverage for events and daily operations.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to the team to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations.
    • Develop and manage the event center’s budget.
    • Negotiate contracts with vendors and clients to ensure favorable terms and cost-effectiveness.
    • Ensure a positive client experience from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up.
    • Gather feedback from clients to continuously improve the quality of services offered.
    • promote the event center and attract new clients through various marketing channels such as  social media e.t.c.
    • Develop packages and pricing strategies to maximize bookings and profit.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key clients.
    • Ensure all events comply with local regulations, health and safety standards, and fire codes.
    • Develop and implement safety procedures for the facility and during events.
    • Handle emergency situations and incidents efficiently, ensuring the safety of all attendees.
    • Perform other tasks as assigned by the management.

    REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree Business Administration,Hospitality management or a related field.
    • 3 years experience in event management, hospitality, or a similar role.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills,time management skills, with attention to detail.
    • Excellent sales and marketing skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage budgets and negotiate contracts.
    • Proficient Microsoft Office Suite(excel, word).

    SALARY: 135,000 NGN

    Note; candidate must reside within or locations around ikeja
