    Finance Intern

    Position Overview:

    • We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team.
    • This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial management within the non-profit sector
    • The successful candidate will assist our finance team with various tasks and projects, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our financial operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
    • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
    • Help with the reconciliation of accounts and financial data entry.
    • Participate in the audit process by providing necessary documentation and information.
    • Assist in the management of grants and funding, including tracking expenditures and preparing financial reports.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
    • Perform other administrative and financial tasks as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • B.sc degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
    • Good knowledge of Quickbooks Online
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Passion for non-profit work and a commitment to the mission of Mentally Aware Nigeria Initiative
