Slot: 3 Positions
Action Against Hunger is currently looking to fill the role of an Food Security and Livelihoods Officer who will be responsible to work under the direct guidance and supervision of the FSL Deputy Programme Manager to support the implementation of FSL activities mainly Cash Voucher Assistance, food assistance and livelihoods activities including income generating activities, Agronomy/Agriculture and Livestock among others. The role holder will supervise FSL Assistants and coordinate direct engagement with beneficiaries, vendors, local/community leaders, local government representatives and other stakeholders. The position will be based in Sokoto (01) and Yobe (02) with frequent movement to communities.
Reporting to: Food Security and Livelihood Programme Manager
Proposed start date: September 2024
Work location: Sokoto, Sokoto State and Nguru, Yobe State

Position Requirement:
Education Qualification: Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Agro-Economy, Agriculture, Natural Resource Management, Anthropology, Agric-Business, Business Administration and Management and other FSL related qualifications;
