Fundraising and Project Management Specialist at Sigma Consult

Position Overview:

• We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fundraising and Project Management Specialist to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fundraising, project management, and basic business development within the NGO sector.
• This role is crucial in driving our mission forward by securing necessary funds and ensuring the effective management of various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Fundraising:

• Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to secure financial support from various sources, including grants, donations, and sponsorships.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, partners, and sponsors.
• Prepare and submit grant proposals and funding applications.
• Organize fundraising events and campaigns to increase awareness and financial support.

Project Management:

• Plan, execute, and oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Coordinate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and present project reports to management and stakeholders.

Business Development (BD):

• Support business development initiatives to identify new opportunities for growth and partnerships.
• Assist in market research and analysis to inform business strategies.
• Participate in networking events and meetings to expand the organizations reach and impact.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Preferably Project Management.
• Proven experience in fundraising within an NGO setting.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully managing projects from start to finish.
• Basic understanding of business development principles.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
• Advanced degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with donor management software and CRM systems.
