    Head of Business Development, Registrar Services

    Job Objectives

    • We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team as the Head of Business Development for our Registrar Services Business.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our business development and client company service management team, developing and implementing strategic AGM coordination for client companies, and drive revenue growth by managing our client companies efficiently.
    • The Head of Business Development (Registrar Service) will play a key role in shaping the company's client management strategy, building and maintaining client relationship, and winning new share registers.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare forecasts and KPI reporting for the Client Relations Officers for organizational planning, financial forecasting, budget setting and strategic planning.
    • Provide visionary leadership to the Client Relations Officers, set clear goals and expectations.
    • Train and mentor a high-performing Client Relations team.
    • Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
    • Work closely with the Management team to develop and refine the company's Client
    • Company Management strategy.
    • Identify market trends, competitive threats, and opportunities for growth.
    • Win new Equity Registers and maintain strong relationships with new clientcompanies.
    • Interface and collaborate with the Secretary of Client Companies to ensure a cordial and sustainable business relationship with the company.
    • Collaborate with regulators and the operations division on Corporate Actions.
    • Lead business development initiatives to expand the company's client base.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the capital market.
    • Implement best practices in coordinating AGMs and EGMs for client companies.

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field. MBA is a plus.
    • Membership of Institute of Capital Market Registrars (ICMR) is an added advantage.
    • Proven track record of success in Client Relationship Management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role.
    • Strong understanding of the Capital Market.
    • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.
    • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding annual revenue target.
