    Head of Sales (Financial Technology)

    • This role is ideal for a Head of Sales who will be fully responsible for the entire sales cycle, from lead gen through to close, in Nigeria, Ghana & Kenya.
    • This position is well suited to a consultative, relationship-builder who is confident presenting, both face-to-face and virtually, within a corporate, financial services environment, discussing and solving the payment challenges facing B2B and Enterprise business in Africa.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Drive adoption of the Company Payment solutions across different verticals for a defined period across new business and key accounts.
    • Demonstrate the capabilities of the different payment solutions/product offering, with a focus on the problems it solves, and the benefits delivered. Identify and set up meetings with senior leaders, users and other stakeholders across Nigeria
    • Attend client meetings, tradeshows, user groups, and key conferences to network, build new contacts and drive growth.
    • Work closely with the Marketing team to plan and drive strategic initiatives, programmes, messaging, and campaigns to generate quality leads.
    • Provide market feedback to the product team that enhances the current offering.
    • Lead and direct all sales and commercial activities for the organization
    • Keep abreast of competitor’s activity, evaluating key competitor’s strength and weakness and recommending any necessary tactical action monthly
    • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly time-phased reports on achievement and activities for management information and generate progress report on sales and business volume targets from the sales data and trends.
    • And all other tasks assigned by management.

    Key Requirements:

    • A Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field of study from a recognized academic institution
    • 8+ years’ B2B sales and commercial experience in the Payment or FMCG Industry
    • Must demonstrate good knowledge and leadership experience in the payment space.
    • Good business sense.
    • A deep understanding of sales and marketing principles
    • Good negotiation skills
    • Ability to take initiatives
