    In-House CMS Web Developer

    Job Overview

    • We are seeking a skilled In-House CMS Web Developer to join our team.
    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing content management systems (CMS) websites that deliver a seamless user experience.
    • You will work closely with our design and marketing teams to create functional, visually appealing websites that meet the company’s goals and standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop, customize, and maintain websites using CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, etc.).
    • Collaborate with the design and content teams to implement new website features, layouts, and functionalities.
    • Ensure the CMS is up-to-date, secure, and optimized for performance across all devices.
    • Conduct regular site testing and troubleshooting to resolve any bugs, performance issues, or user experience problems.
    • Optimize websites for search engines (SEO) and ensure compliance with best practices.
    • Integrate third-party tools, plugins, and APIs as needed to enhance website functionality.
    • Ensure websites are responsive and work across different browsers and devices.
    • Create and maintain detailed documentation for website updates and new features.
    • Manage and implement content updates as required by other departments.
    • Provide technical support and training to content managers and end-users.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
    • Proven experience developing websites with CMS platforms (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, etc.).
    • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
    • Experience with CMS theme and plugin customization.
    • Familiarity with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization.
    • Understanding of SEO best practices and website analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.).
    • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and web hosting environments.
    • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento) is a plus.
    • Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG).
    • Experience with graphic design software (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a bonus.
