Junior Accountant at Amy Consulting

Key Responsibilities:

• Entering financial data into accounting software accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by recording daily transactions in the general ledger.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts regularly.
• Verify the accuracy of invoices and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
• Record and reconcile customer payments.
• Provide support during internal and external audits.
• Support senior accountants in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Assist in various ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned by senior members of the finance team.
• Classify and categorize expenses, revenues, and other financial transactions appropriately.

Key Requirements:

• An HND/Degree in accounting or related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• General accounting duties like Invoicing, Payroll, Tax Filling, Financial report, Filling of Compliance Certificates etc)
