    Marketing Manager

    Job Location: Lagos

    Job Responsibilities

    • Deep understanding of the trade channels, their  dynamics and opportunities
    • Own the long-term plans and strategies for Trade and portfolio within the trade channels, translating them into actionable short-term programmes in order to deliver business objectives within the trade channels.
    • Accountable for establishing and recommending goals for all key sales programs within the channels
    • Develop selling kits and point of sale materials that are consistent with Sales and Marketing objectives to gain the desired results from the trade channels.
    • Own operational marketing in the trade channels: sales drivers, activation programs, and POS execution.
    • Support management in the decision-making process by coordinating feedback through direct interaction with Field Sales and Brand Marketing.
    • Guide HO leadership in its decisions being the voice of the country’s trade channels and customers.
    • Contribute to the Joint Up Business Plan process – particularly with regards category strategy, trade strategy and sales units’ plans within all trade channels.
    • Accountability for Advertisement & Promotion /Budget spends with all trade channels.
    • Prepare the annual Marketing Plan for all business units in the firm.
    • Support the development and execution of the Marketing plans in the market acting as the interface between marketing and sales hub.
    • Accountable for the A&P spend and M&E within the group
    • Recommend the corrective actions to capture growth opportunities and adapt our Marketing plans in all trade channels.
    • Accountability for end-to-end flawless execution through leadership and coordination of respective functions and stakeholders.
    • Lead the planning and execution of priority brand activities across the respective channels.
    • Ensure we own the right promotional slots in the trade channels and conduct the right activation (formats, offer, depth, frequency).
    • Evaluate ROI and effectiveness of key programs and identify the most effective programs for sell-in and sell-through.

    Job Requirements

    • BSc/BA in business administration, marketing or relevant field (Second Class Upper)
    • Minimum of Second Class Lower with relevant Masters Degree​
    • NIMN, ISMMN certification or other related certification
    • 15years cognate experience and 5 years proven experience working as a sales advisor in an automotive industry
    • Experience within the automotive industry is an added advantage
