Medical Laboratory Scientist at Rightcare Hospital

Duties 

• Perform routine and complex laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and blood bank.
• Analyze specimens, interpret results, and ensure accuracy of test outcomes.
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment, troubleshooting issues as needed.
• Adhere to quality control and quality assurance protocols to ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to discuss test results and assist in patient care decisions.
• Maintain accurate records of test procedures, results, and patient information.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in laboratory technology and healthcare.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment, following all safety and infection control protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory ScienceValid practicing license
• At least 3 years of experience working in a clinical or hospital laboratory setting
