Job Summary

• We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.
• The Medical Laboratory Technician will operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensure the accuracy of test results, and adhere to established protocols and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests and procedures in areas such as hematology, microbiology, immunology, clinical chemistry, and molecular biology.
• Collect, process, and analyze biological specimens, ensuring proper handling and labeling.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Record and report test results accurately and promptly to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Conduct quality control checks and perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper disposal of biohazardous materials.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory procedures, test results, and quality control data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with laboratory equipment and procedures.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures and protocols.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with advances in laboratory techniques and technologies.
• Collaborate with other laboratory staff and healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective laboratory operations.
