    Office & Business Development Manager

    JOB SUMMARY.

    As an Office & Business Development Manager, you will identify new business opportunities in order to generate revenue, increase profitability and help the business grow.  You will also manage the day to day operations of the office.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES.

    • Demonstrate excellent knowledge and understanding of all company products and services and be able to advise clients, staff members and customers about them.
    • Prospect for new clients and new business opportunities in both Public and Private sector. 
    • Come up with new business ideas and initiatives that will increase sales.
    • Foster and develop relationships with clients both new and existing.
    • Actively work with other staff members in the packaging of bids, writing proposals and delivering presentations externally. 
    • Engage in the monthly review of market price, trends and competitor activities within the industry to ensure company is competitive.
    • Monitor & manage the performance and activities of all your direct reports.
    • Conduct weekly staff meetings/performance reviews/probation assessments as at when due.
    • Responsible for ensuring all staff compliance to company processes and procedures.
    • Participate in recruitment of Office staff.
    • Manage & control office expenses budget.
    • Provide a detailed weekly activity report to the CEO on all business areas detailing improvements made.
    • Assist in the delivery and supply of products to client site.
    • Undertake and complete any other duties, or tasks as directed by the CEO.

    Skills and Qualification.

    • Excellent interpersonal and managerial skills
    • Strong communication skills; written & verbal 
    • Must be a self-starter, have good attention to detail and the ability to take initiative and solve problems.
    • Good presentation skills 
    • Computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages i.e., PowerPoint, Word, Excel etc 
    • Degree in Business Studies or other similar discipline 
    • Highly motivated and confident.
