    Procurement Executive

    Job Summary:

    Source quality products, optimize supply chain efficiency, and manage procurement operations for our ecommerce platform.

    PURPOSE:

    • A brief overview of the role This role oversees purchases and develop new contracts. The role plays a key role in procuring high-quality and cost-efficient supplies for our organization.

    KEY DUTIES:

    • Procurement of all office consumables
    • Replenishment of first aid boxes
    • Procurement of Beverages
    • Procurement of office supplies for stores
    • Responsible for the supply of all Konga Packaging materials
    • Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
    • Sourcing for vendors for various items being procured
    • Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
    • Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts
    • Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality
    • Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases
    • Maintaining accurate record.
    • Attend to other tasks as it relates to the administrative team.
    • Maintain relationship with vendors, suppliers and contractors.

    KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in purchasing/procurement tasks
    • Experience in general administrative role

    KNOWLEDGE (include technical knowledge):

    • Negotiation skill
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Time management
    • Good Problem solving skills
    • Analytical skill- paying attention to details
    • Project Management skills
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Customer Service Oriented
    • Efficiency and Organization

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • University or Polytechnic degree.
    • Qualification/Certified training in project management is an added advantage
