Production Manager at Sigma Consult

Job Overview:

• We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Manager to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the injection molding industry, with a strong background in process optimization, workforce management, and machinery maintenance.
• This role requires a hands-on leader who can oversee production processes, ensure quality compliance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Management:

• Oversee the setup and operation of injection molding machines, including Milacron, Haitai, and Jon Wai models.
• Optimize production processes for efficiency and quality, including mold changes and machine start-up procedures.
• Implement and monitor production schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
• Ensure adherence to quality norms and standards throughout the production process.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any defects or inconsistencies.
• Manage and lead a large workforce, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional development.
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on injection molding machines as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and technological advancements.
• Utilize ERP systems and MS Office for reporting, inventory management, and documentation.
• Prepare regular reports on production performance, efficiency, and other key metrics.

Qualifications:

• Education: HND or bachelors degree in engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 10-15 years of supervisory experience in an injection molding plant.

Skills:

• Hands-on experience with process setting and troubleshooting injection molding machines.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Familiarity with quality assurance protocols and standards
