    Production Supervisor (Drinks Manufacturing)

    Job Description

    • The company is looking to hire an experienced Production Supervisor to effectively use human and material resources in the production of quality product at minimal cost in accordance with good manufacturing and good housekeeping practices (GMP/GHK)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Inspect equipment and conduct routine maintenance.
    • Lead staff daily/weekly/monthly to achieve production goals through efficient production processes within safe environment in accordance with GMP. 
    • Communicate necessary information to employees regarding production target and achievements.
    • Be responsible for product package quality, and coordinate production activates with other supporting department (Quality, Engineering, Store, HR etc.) as needed.
    • Recommend measures to improve productivity and product package quality.
    • Diligently verify availability of raw materials and ensure release to shop floor based on approved production plan.
    • Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member of the team understands the standards and behaviors expected of them.
    • Motivate production team to create a high-performance culture where improvement suggestions are embraced.
    • Be responsible for meeting and reporting on daily production activities
    • Train, coach, develop factory operatives and schedule/assign tasks according to their skills.
    • Objectively evaluate staff performance and make relevant recommendation on achieving performance standards.
    • Accurately measure performance throughout work shifts.
    • Ensure equipment start-up within required timelines.
    • Run a shift, discharge your duties and provide support and input to continuous improvement activities within the team.
    • Maximize the use of personnel to meet the production target

    Requirements

    • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or any related course.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
    • Ability to build effective relationships with team members.
    • Strong people and performance management skills.
    • Good organizational, analytical and judgment skills.
    • Good problem-solving skills, computer literate, written and communication skills.
    • Able to achieve result by setting high standards and committing to clear objectives.
    • Possess the ability to lead and motivate a team of people to succeed by utilizing appropriate interpersonal style including leading by examples, setting objectives and defining responsibilities to give a clear sense of direction.
    • Ability to sustain and develop team work and team-based problem-solving. method.
    • Full understanding of customer (internal/external) expectations and deliverables with an awareness of the impact of failure/cost of poor quality.
