The Associate is a senior role on our health division team and will spend 50% of his/her time leading the development of manuscripts for ongoing or completed projects (covering diverse areas such as vertical disease control programmes, AMR, Supply Chain, evaluations and assessments, etc) and 50% of his/her time on designing and implementing new research projects to help grow our portfolio in Nigeria and in the region.
The Associate will have an advanced degree in public health/similar education in area of healthcare, managing public health projects and 5-7 years’ relevant experience in public health project management, research design, and research writing. Candidate must have evidence of manuscripts previously developed.
Experience in engaging with government and relationships in academia are desirable.
A key part of our work focuses on formative insights gained through qualitative and quantitative research to enhance intervention design. This also includes application of implementation science to better comprehend how to deliver current interventions more effectively. We also conduct market analysis to comprehend the broader context of health issues and responses, and evaluations to gauge program effectiveness.

REMUNERATION
The net monthly salary is competitive. Other benefits include 21 paid leave days per annum, pension and tax contributions, and health insurance coverage.
