    Project Manager

    Job Purpose

    • The role of a Project Manager, Migration involves overseeing the project which is aimed at providing legal assistance, psychosocial support and vocational training to repatriated survivors of Trafficking in Persons (women and girls) who have faced sexual exploitation.
    • This position requires a blend of strategic planning, management skills, and expertise in international development and justice

    Job Responsibilities

    • Oversee the overall implementation of the project, ensuring all activities align with project goals.
    • Manage project staff and coordinate with stakeholders, including government agencies, NAPTIP, TVET, and community organizations.
    • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
    • Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of project milestones.
    • Prepare and submit regular project reports to UNODC and other stakeholders.
    • Ensure compliance with UNODC standards, particularly regarding the prohibition of sexual exploitation and abuse.
    • Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.

    Qualifications

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Migration Studies, Social Sciences, public administration, community development, or a related field.
    • Advanced university degree Master’s and additional certifications in project management and M&E will be an advantage.
    • At least 7 years of progressively responsible experience in program or project management preferably in the NGO sector.
    • Provable experience in Grant writing and Management.
    • Extensive experience in working with and managing large international projects, preferably within the UN system or other international organizations.
    • Demonstrated experience in the fields of migration, Refugees and IDP management, or related areas.
    • Proficiency in relevant computer software applications, including Microsoft Office suite and statistical analysis software.
    • Must Reside in Edo State.
