    Purchase Officer

    Position Overview:

    The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations to maximize process efficiency and productivity. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in retail supply chain management and a proven track record in leading a procurement department.

    Job Functions/Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that enhance efficiency and support business growth.
    • Oversee the procurement process, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and relationship management.
    • Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply while minimizing excess and obsolete stock.
    • Coordinate logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution, to ensure timely delivery of products.
    • Monitor and optimize supply chain costs, seeking opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
    • Ensure all supply chain activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
    • Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
    • Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance, metrics, and key initiatives to senior management.

    Requirements/Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in retail supply chain management.
    • At least 3 years of experience managing a procurement department.
    • Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics processes.
    • Proven track record of successful supplier negotiation and relationship management.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in supply chain management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
