    Reservation Supervisor

    Job Summary:

    We are looking for a Reservation Supervisor to oversee reservations department and ensure the smooth operation of all reservation-related activities. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. As a Reservation Supervisor, you will lead a team of reservation agents, manage bookings, handle customer inquiries, and assist the Reservation Manager in optimizing revenue through effective pricing and inventory management.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervise Reservation Team: Lead and motivate a team of reservation agents, ensuring they meet performance goals and provide exceptional service to guests.
    • Booking Management: Oversee the reservation process, including room availability, rate management, and reservation modifications, to maximize occupancy and revenue.
    • Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide assistance with reservations, ensuring a seamless booking experience.
    • Inventory Management: Monitor room availability and adjust inventory in real-time to optimize occupancy and revenue.
    • Reporting: Prepare and analyze reservation reports to track performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
    • Training and Development: Train new reservation agents and provide ongoing coaching and support to the team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
    • Quality Control: Ensure accuracy and completeness of reservations, and maintain up-to-date information on rates, promotions, and policies.
    • Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including Sales and Front Office, to ensure efficient communication and coordination of reservations.
    • Adherence to Policies: Ensure that all reservation-related processes and procedures are in line with the hotel's policies and standards.
    • Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance evaluations for reservation agents and provide constructive feedback for improvement.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
    • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a hotel reservations department.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
    • Proficiency in reservation management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
    • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
