Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect/Site Manager to oversee and manage architectural projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to lead a team of professionals to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management: Oversee the planning, design, and execution of architectural projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Design Development: Lead the development of architectural designs, from initial concept through detailed design, ensuring compliance with client requirements, building codes, and industry standards.
• Site Management: Manage on-site construction activities, including coordination of contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure projects are executed according to design specifications and safety regulations.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of architects, engineers, and other professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships, addressing concerns, and providing regular updates on project progress.
• Quality Control: Ensure all architectural and construction work meets the highest standards of quality and is consistent with project requirements and specifications.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure financial targets are met.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant building codes, zoning laws, and health and safety regulations.
• Documentation: Prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications, and other project documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve design and construction issues promptly, minimizing disruptions to project timelines.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: BSc or MSc in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 8-10 years of professional experience in architecture and site management, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and project management tools. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues before they arise.
