Role Overview:

• As the Senior Finance Lead, you will be pivotal in overseeing and enhancing our financial operations.
• You will lead the finance team, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and provide strategic insights to support decision-making.
• Your role will involve direct interaction with customers, requiring a strong customer service orientation and exceptional problem-solving skills, and MUST be resident around Lekki/Ajah area of Lagos State.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Team Management: Lead and inspire a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Motivate team members to achieve departmental goals and provide guidance and support to ensure professional growth.
• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Ensure payables and receivables functions of the unit are well coordinated and oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with set standards. Develop and implement financial models and budgets to support strategic planning.
• Customer Service and Issue Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for customer-related financial issues. Resolve complaints and issues promptly and effectively, demonstrating a commitment to high-quality service.
• ERP Software Management: Utilize ERP software, particularly Microsoft Dynamics, to manage and streamline financial processes. Ensure effective use of technology to enhance operational efficiency.
• Budget Preparation and Management Accounts: Develop and manage budgets from inception to completion. Prepare management accounts, providing insights and recommendations to guide business decisions.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies aligned with organizational goals. Monitor financial performance and recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

• Professional Certification: Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent is a MUST) with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Senior Management Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a senior management role, demonstrating leadership and strategic oversight.
• Customer Service Orientation: Proven ability to handle customer-related complaints and issues effectively, with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
• Financial Expertise: Extensive knowledge of financial reporting, analysis, modeling, and budgeting. Demonstrated experience in starting and managing budgets and management accounts from scratch.
• ERP Software Proficiency: Expertise in ERP systems, with strong familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics is a MUST.
• Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive projects to successful completion.
