Are you a skilled WordPress Developer who is passionate about transforming an organization’s website ideas into reality?

We are a digital marketing company working in the demand generation niche and based out of Lagos. We operate a hybrid remote and in-office model: 5 days of in-office work per month. 

Our organization is in search of a WordPress Developer who has a deep understanding of the WordPress platform to design and implement various modular components for our company’s website. You will be knowledgeable in both front and back-end design, including implementing plugins and themes. You will also need the knowledge of how to manage the various security functions that are on offer to ensure unauthorized access is not achieved.

Furthermore, you will need good communication skills as you will need to interact with many different stakeholders and other developers on a regular basis.

We have a UI/UX designer on staff who will provide you with finished designs that you only need to code out. 

Wordpress Developer Job Responsibilities

As a Wordpress Developer at our company, you will:

• Liaise with stakeholder.
• Code and implement full websites and modular components on the WordPress platform.
• Monitor the performance of the website.
• Create new plugins and themes for WordPress.
• Facilitate connections between databases and wordpress components.
• Identify and fix bugs that are found within the code.
• Create unit tests for the website.
• Write detailed documentation.

Wordpress Developer Job Requirements

Our ideal Wordpress Developer will have:

• The ability to problem-solve.
• Past experience and high-level understanding of the WordPress platform.
• Knowledge of both frontend and backend languages such as CSS, JavaScript, PHP etc.
• Knowledge of building front-end interfaces.
• Debugging knowledge of WordPress.
• Knowledge of Page Builders such as Elementor or Genesis
