    Chief Executive Officer (Female)

    Responsibilities 

    • Develop and execute business strategies to achieve organizational goals and objectives, with a clear focus on scaling up the company’s products and operations efficiently.
    • Drive strategic sales and business development initiatives with a view to actualizing both short and medium-term financial objectives of the company.
    • Oversee management of all commercial/ customer relationships with a view to increasing the company’s market share and profitability
    • Develop and implement business plans to facilitate the achievement of business targets by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities.
    • Oversee the operational and financial performance of the business, and ensure adequate resources are available for optimal performance.
    • Delegate responsibilities and supervise work of senior management staff providing adequate guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance.
    • Facilitate strategic reporting to the Board and investors, including business insights and business performance reports.
    • Manage other key stakeholder relationships (including regulatory, board, investor, and community)
    • Drive risk management activities within the business to minimize exposures and maximize business opportunities.
    • Ensure company policies are well communicated across the organization and adhered to
    • Maintain a strong positive culture within the Company.
    • Any other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Board from time to time.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in strategic selling and business development with a minimum of 5 years in executive management and at least 10 years in a strategic sales role (ideally 12-20 years aggregate experience)
    • Experience in strategy design and execution, and business development

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple teams and priorities.
    • Experience working with start-ups and driving institutionalization initiatives is highly preferable.
    • Relevant undergraduate degree: A master’s degree in a relevant field is desirable.
    • Strategic Business Development and executive profiles in the following key sectors: Financial services (Insurance, Banking, Fintech, etc.), HMO sales or health service providers, IT Sales, Non-commodity services – Real estate/ Property Development, transport services, etc

    Direct Sales Agent

    Responsibilities

    • Identify potential customers within designated markets through various channels such as referrals, networking, and cold-calling.
    • Engage with prospective clients to understand their financial needs and goals, and present appropriate financial products and services.
    • Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall branch and organizational goals.
    • Continuously expand the customer base and explore new opportunities for business growth.
    • Develop a deep understanding of the microfinance bank's products and services, including loans, savings accounts, micro-insurance, and other financial offerings.
    • Educate potential clients about the features, benefits, and terms of various financial products to help them make informed decisions.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance their loyalty and satisfaction.
    • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
    • Collect and verify necessary documentation from clients for loan applications, account opening, and other financial transactions.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies during customer interactions and data collection.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
    • Prepare regular sales reports, activity reports, and other relevant documentation as required by management.
    • Collaborate with colleagues, team leaders, and other departments to streamline sales processes and enhance overall customer experience.
    • Participate in training sessions and workshops to improve product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of OND from a reputable institution.
    • Minimum of 1 year experience as a direct sales agent in a microfinance bank.
    • Goal oriented with the mind-set of meeting or exceeding sales target.
    • Integrity, professional and customer- centric approach to sales.
