    Drilling Engineering Advisor

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • The role and function of a Drilling Engineer includes the following duties and responsibilities:
    • Establishing and administering drilling and service contracts;
    • Preparing well data sheets;
    • Designing and selecting well-head equipment;
    • Designing directional well paths (horizontally or multi-laterally, as appropriate);
    • Contributing to conceptual field development design;
    • Working with multidisciplinary professionals to evaluate the commercial viability of the well and monitor progress during drilling;
    • Coordinating and supervising the work of the field drilling team;
    • Undertaking engineering design and the planning of wells (including development work);
    • Obtaining relevant data, carrying out engineering analysis on site and recommending necessary actions and writing up reports;
    • Monitoring the daily progress of well operations;
    • Drawing up drilling programmes, taking account of desired production flow rates;
    • Adhering to environmental protection standards, in some cases through direct discussion with local governments to ensure compliance with legislative requirements;
    • Monitoring safety and ensuring the good maintenance of the well;
    • Returning the site to its natural environmental setting
    • Keeping track of current daily costs, comparing actual costs with expenditure proposals and recommending cost-effective changes;
    • Liaising with and coordinating the work of specialist well site contractors and suppliers, such as cement companies or suppliers of drilling fluids;

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering, masters will be an advantage.
    • At least 20 years relevant experience including drilling supervision
    • Possesses good hands–on technical knowledge and experience of relevant drilling engineering software
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral with the ability to challenge others in a constructive manner and negotiate with peers, partners and 3rd parties to influence decisions or ways of working
    • Must be a self-motivated individual and possess ability to work under pressure without sacrificing quality
    • Good problem-solving skills (combining learned procedures and related experience) and the ability to handle large amounts of complex information in a detailed and coordinated manner and to identify critical issues and workflows
    • Committed to the highest principles of ethics, quality of work with a strong commitment to Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) objectives

    Audit Analyst

    Job Summary:

    • Communication: Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to communicate audit results, provide guidance, and assist in implementing improvements.
    • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to contribute to the enhancement of audit methodologies.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. ICAN, ACA or ACCA or relevant certification is a plus.
    • Proven experience in financial or operational auditing, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and relevant regulations. FIRS
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, data analytics software).
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey audit findings and recommendations.

    Field Production Engineer

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Production engineers are petroleum engineers who take over wells after drilling is completed and monitor these wells for oil and gas production. If wells are not producing as much as expected, production engineers figure out ways to increase the amount being extracted. As well as this, production engineers will have other key tasks such as:
    • Evaluating inflow and outflow performance between reservoirs and the wellbore
    • Directing and monitoring the completion and evaluation of wells, well testing or well surveys
    • Monitoring production rates, and planning workover processes to improve production
    • Designing well intervention activities
    • Selecting equipment for surface facilities that separate and measure the produced fluids and prepare them for transportation
    • Liaise with Field Operations and provide technical support
    • Monitor and coordinate field production activities for optimum production

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering, masters will be an advantage.
    • At least 7 years relevant experience in onshore Production Engineering
    • Possess good hands–on technical knowledge and experience of relevant well engineering softwares (OFM, NODAL, SEPAL etc.)
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral with the ability to challenge others in a constructive manner and negotiate with internal peers, partners and 3rd parties to influence decisions or ways of working
    • Must be a self-motivated individual and possess ability to work under pressure without sacrificing quality
    • Good problem-solving skills (combining learned procedures and related experience) and the ability to handle large amounts of complex information in a detailed and coordinated manner and to identify critical issues and workflows
    • Committed to the highest principles of ethics, quality of work with a strong commitment to Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) objectives
