    Executive Director, Operations

    Job Summary

    • Our client in the insurance industry is looking for an experienced, motivated, and self-driven Executive Director to join their core team! As an Executive Director, you will plan, implement, and oversee the company's daily operations necessary for business success and growth.

    Job Objectives

    • Work with Business Leaders to develop performance goals and long-term operational plans.
    • Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity.
    • Analyse current operational processes and performance and implement best practice interventions

    Duties

    • Make decisions for operational activities
    • Set and measure strategic operational goals and KPIs
    • Plan, implement, and manage the overall long-term business success strategy
    • Plan and monitor the day-to-day operations
    • Supervise, train, and oversee staff from different departments
    • Organize customer support to enhance customer satisfaction
    • Ensure adequate liquidity and profitability of the Company.
    • Ensure that the risk management function in the Company is directed, managed, and operated in accordance with best practices and corporate governance procedures
    • Promote a culture of accountability, efficient resource management, and cost optimization across all operations.
    • Design practical measurement tools to gauge the efficiency and effectiveness of internal and external processes.

    Skills

    • In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles
    • Sound negotiation skills
    • Knowledge of multiple operational insurance functions
    • Ability to streamline or implement structures and roles that boost speed and efficiency while supporting rapidly shifting business demands.
    • Experience in developing budgets and business plans
    • Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legal guidelines.

    Requirements

    Qualification & Experience

    • First degree, preferably in insurance, actuarial science, mathematics, finance or related discipline
    • ACII or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 15 years cognate experience with a reputable insurance company in Nigeria.

    Business Development Specialist (BDS)

    Role Objectives

    • The BDS will be responsible for educating prospective and existing clients about our company's products to increase sales, develop strong relationships with new clients, and maintain relationships clients

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage sales management process - pipeline, account planning, and proposal to meet the target
    • Implement end-to-end sales strategies
    • Ensure all customers are successfully on-boarded on time and within budget
    • Prospect and pitch new business opportunities to meet sales target
    • Research or market survey for new business opportunities, trend and strategies for sales growth to meet sales target
    • Set up and monitor commercial activities to meet or deliver targets on sales budget, cost, volume and efficiency target/KPI
    • Monitor and report the process across the revenue cycle from customer acquisition to engagement to success
    • Develop and maintain the customer relationship by excellently understanding the key customer or target audience to ensure their objectives are being met in order to retain business.
    • Run commercial and trend analysis, scenario modelling and opportunity assessment leading to a commercial insight/recommendation/survey
    • Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures in so far as applicable to all financial and non-financial transaction
    • Lead and coordinate with related parties both internal and external to achieve the operation and sales target.
    • Create an agreement document with the client

    Qualifications

    • Candidates should possess an HND or Bachelor's Degree
    • 2+ years of sales or marketing experience, online sale marketing would be an advantage, lead generates, account management, advertising agency background
    • Experience in FMCG, Book Publishing, Stationary Sales, business development, trading, retail, distributor industry and/or logistics is beneficial.
    • Ability to feel comfortable in a high-intensity, KPI driven, sales environment.
    • Good presentation, communication, negotiation and analytical skills
    • Good command of English skills
