    Financial Analyst

    Job Description

    • Our client, a financial advisory firm and issuing house requires the service of a highly skilled Financial Analyst who is Detail oriented, good with numbers and competitive.
    • The right candidate will have some experience with financial modeling and valuation, and will be good with presentation generation and analysis.

    Responsibilities

    • Grow financial performance through analysis of financial results, forecasts, variances, and trends.
    • Develop financial models to support valuation, planning, and forecasting.
    • Reconcile existing transactions through cross-referencing of incoming and outgoing data.
    • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of financial instruments, market conditions and trends.
    • Strong financial modelling experience.
    • Recommend actions by interpreting and analysing and making comparative analysis
    • Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models

    Qualifications

    • 1st Class or 2nd Class Degree.
    • 1 - 3 years of professional experience in finance, accounting or banking, Big 4 Consulting/Advisory practice preferred.
    • Experience dealing with regulatory filings and offer documents for debt or M&A offerings.

    The right candidate will have:
    Technical Skills:

    • This person will have advanced accounting skills and financial statement analysis abilities, and would have professional experience either with an investment bank or an accounting firm where they have formally learned how to evaluate financial information and how to present it.
    • The right candidate will be an expert in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, will be teachable, and a quick learner. Communication to senior executives will be a key part of this role, which would report to a Partner.

    Independence:

    • We are a flat organization, and we want someone who is able to report to very senior people and work thoroughly with minimal supervision.

    Investment Banking Associate

    Job Description

    • Our client, a financial advisory firm and issuing house requires the service of a highly skilled Investment banking associate.
    • The successful candidate will leverage past investment banking or related experience to enhance M&A execution and capital raising capabilities.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in the execution of company’s Investment Banking business activities.
    • Manage and mentor analysts by providing detailed guidance and feedback, managing information flow to analysts as appropriate.
    • Lead in the preparation of presentation materials, pitch books, proposals, information memoranda, company profiles and teasers.
    • Perform financial and valuation analyses of companies, including DCF, comparable companies and precedent transaction analyses.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or closely related areas, MBA preferred
    • 5 - 7 years of professional experience in finance, accounting or banking, Big 4 Consulting/Advisory practice preferred
    • Experience in evaluating corporate transactions and structures.
    • Experience creating financial analyses.
    • Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills.
    • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience assisting with client development.

    IT Security Engineer

    Responsibilities
    An exciting opportunity exists for talented IT security engineer to join a dynamic project team. The successful candidate shall be responsible for the following:

    • Participate in the delivery cybersecurity through vulnerability and threat identification, incident detection and response, forensic investigations, Patch and Vulnerability Management. Engage with infrastructure and applications teams in mitigation and remediation efforts.
    • Engage with other IT units to establish and enforce security best practices, protection objectives and process improvements.
    • Review and make recommendations regarding on-premise, data centre and cloud infrastructure, networking and security settings and posture.
    • Create and maintain key metrics that are indicative of security posture of the infrastructure.
    • Keep abreast of threat intelligence feeds to stay abreast of industry reports and emerging threat that may affect

    Functions

    • Lead cyber security initiatives in conjunction with Group Cybersecurity team.
    • Design and implement security controls to safeguard and monitor events for information systems, enterprise applications and data.
    • Lead the implementation of Information Security projects.
    • Drive internal and external vulnerability assessment, penetration tests engagements and manage results to remediation.
    • Respond to escalated security events and drive security incident response processes to ensure timely resolution with minimal disruption.
    • Design, document, and deploy secure infrastructure solutions to enhance and evolve the security posture of the business to ensure integrity, availability and confidentiality of all critical enterprise data.
    • Provide expertise on security tools, including but not limited to firewalls, Web Application firewalls, IDS/IDP, anti-malware software
    • Liaise with stakeholders in respect of operational implementation of security policies and best practices.
    • Prevent data loss and service interruptions by researching new technologies that will effectively protect the enterprise network.

    Supervisory / Managerial Responsibilities:

    • Ensure conformance to Cyber security Blueprint/Roadmap.
    • Provide inputs to company strategic plan on all initiatives to ensure that Security gaps/vulnerabilities are identified & closed.
    • Establish and ensure credibility through strong relationships, value-add to operations and professionalism

    Requirements / Experience

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an area of Security specialisation; with experience working with others.
    • Experience working in a Large organization and preferably in the Telecommunications industry.
    • Strong background as an Engineer/Architect in application security infrastructure and various network technologies to include devices such as firewalls, VPN, intrusion/extrusion detection, vulnerability & risk assessment tools, encryption technologies, virus/worm/malware prevention, E-business and web application technologies, Data Loss Prevention, whole disk & device encryption solutions, two-factor authentication, common Windows (desktop & server) platforms,
    • Experience with Microsoft,Solaris, Unix, Oracle and MSSQL.
    • Experience working in telecommunications industry.
    • Managing network and/or network security.
    • Knowledge should be current with information security best practices and global trends.
    • Knowledge of security best practices such as; defense in-depth, least privileges, need-to-know, separation of duties, access controls, encryption.
    • User account identity, authorization and authentication management.
    • Security incident and event management.
    • Experience in researching new or emerging technologies and processes that may be incorporated as solutions to reoccurring security concern.

    Training:

    • Penetration Testing
    • Vulnerability lifecycle management.
    • Advanced Security Incidence Reponse.
    • Systems Auditing, Database Security, Firewall Design, Intrusion detection system administration Implementation.
    • Security enforcement on systems level, security audit and vulnerability management.
