    Account Reconciliation officer

    Job description

    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for the coordination and execution of account reconciliations.
    • He or she will participate in utilizing accounting software to post transactions and assist in preparing financial reports

    Responsibilities

    • Ability to reconcile accounts with ease
    • Helps in maintaining of the general ledger by involving in processing company invoices, payments, purchases and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions
    • Review and verify accuracy of company financial records and processes
    • The candidate will be able to help in preparation of financial records and statements for internal and external reporting, performance, trends and forecast.

    Skills

    • Strong account reconciliation skill
    • Proficiency in using accounting software
    • Excellent analytical skills
    • Strong knowledge of financial statements and financial reporting and the ability to prepare accurate financial reports
    • Attention to details and strong organizational skills
    • Ability to work with little or no supervision
    • Good team player

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or HND in finance, accounting, or related field
    • At least 5 years’ experience in finance and accounting
    • Having ICAN qualification in view will be an added advantage

    Executive Assistant

    • To support the CEO primarily and provide additional support to executive team members, as directed, to ensure that company goals and objectives are accomplished and that operations run efficiently.
    • Maintain and refine internal processes that support high-ranking executives companywide, and coordinate internal and external resources to expedite workflows.
    • Plan and orchestrate work to ensure that senior executives’ priorities are met, organizational goals are achieved, and best practices are upheld.

    Operational

    • Manage professional and personal scheduling for CEO, including agendas, mail, email, phone calls, client management, and other company logistics
    • Coordinate complex scheduling and calendar management, as well as content and flow of information to senior executive
    • Maintain and refine internal processes that support high-ranking executives companywide, and coordinate internal and external resources to expedite workflows
    • Manage communication with employees by liaising with internal and external executives on various projects and tasks
    • Plan and orchestrate work to ensure that senior executives’ priorities are met, organizational goals are achieved, and best practices are upheld
    • Acting as the point of contact among executives, employees, clients and other external partners
    • Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials
    • Manage senior executives’ travel logistics and activities, including accommodations, transportation, and meals

    Skills, Competencies, and Requirements:

    General Requirements:

    • Work experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or similar role
    • Excellent MS Office knowledge
    • Outstanding organizational and time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
    • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
    • Familiarity with office gadgets and applications (e.g. e-calendars and copy machines)
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Discretion and confidentiality

    Specific Requirements:

    • Five or more years of experience in a similar role reporting directly to upper management
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong time-management skills and an ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects
    • Proficiency with office productivity tools and an aptitude for learning new software and systems
    • Flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes and unafraid of challenges
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information related to the company and its employees

    Qualifications and Experience

    • A good degree in Social Sciences, Humanities, additional qualifications in Office Administration
