    Quality Assurance Technicians

    Location: Sagamu

    Remuneration: NGN 150,000 to NGN 200,000 Monthly gross

    Reports to: Quality and Packaging Manager

    Job Summary:

    To provide effective quality coverage by monitoring the entire production activities and processes to achieve a total quality assurance of the finished products and handling of complaints from customers via maintaining an adequate retention sample scheme.

    Responsibilities

    • Carry out prompt quality Control activities cutting across in-process checks, results from the laboratory and inspection of final packaging quality of finished goods on daily basis.
    • Take charge of all production activity as regards quality and enforces good hygiene, GMP and GLP during production.
    • Conduct final inspection on and ensure that status labels are well placed on products and materials daily.
    • Involve in the full coverage of the entire manufacturing processes by   monitoring & controlling of the quality of intermediates and release of finished products.
    • Ensures that manufacturing batch records and Lot packaging records are filled adequately to ensure complete documentation.
    • Generate routine QA compliance reports and communicates all non-compliance observations and the corrective action taken in the reports as well.
    • Carry out the withdrawal of retain samples for storage to ensure representative retention of Products before the expiration of such products and ensuring full inventory of retained samples with GMP expectations on documentation.
    • Partake in all trouble shooting activities that may occur on production lines to ensure that the root cause is identified and solution found without compromising quality.
    • To ensure compliance with relevant QMS, Food Safety, & OHS policies and procedures.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of HND/BSc in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Food Science Technology
    • At least 3 years work experience in a similar role.
    • Relevant professional qualification (IPAN/ASQ) would be an added advantage
    • Excellent Quantitative analysis.
    • Computer expertise especially in MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint.

    Operative Filling Machines (MF, Akash, Nichrome, Spanpack Jc and Pet Bottle)

    Location: Sagamu

    Remuneration: NGN180,000 – NGN220,000 Monthly gross

    Reports to: Oil Packing Production Supervisor

    Job Summary:

    Operate the machines at rated speeds and desired efficiency while observing machine and people safety in sachet, bottle & kegs filling operation. Conducts daily machine maintenance and maintain good manufacturing practices during shift.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct weekly and periodic maintenance of the machine.
    • Operate the production jerrican or pet line labeller, filler and capper (as applicable), sachet/pouch VFFS Machine at optimum rated speed and desired efficiency- at all times.
    • Conduct daily clit (cleaning, lubrication, inspection and tightening) on the machines and report any incident that requires corrective action to the supervisor.
    • Ensure quality and process compliance by conducting weight checks, process audit within acceptable limit during the shift.
    • Ensure that all safety standards applicable on the machines are adhered to during the shift.

    Requirements

    • OND/SSCE preferably (minimum), technical educational background preferred

    Assistant Warehouse Manager

    Location: Ibadan

    Remuneration: NGN 250,000 – NGN 350,000 Monthly gross

    Reports to: Head Supply Chain

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Warehousing

    • FIFO management
    • Maximum utilization of space 
    • Maintenance of Bay and Bin system 
    • Availability of Material dispatch within 4 working hour after receipt of delivery order. 
    • Maintenance and closure of delivery in system and physical (POD) within 2 working days of delivery
    • Internal audit of systems adherence every month.
    • Posting of required reports at required time. 
    • Flagging of material which is not picked up from warehouse in 24 hours. 
    • No transfer of material without written authorization from PPC.
    • Pre-approval of manpower engagement during non-working time. 
    • Coordinate with PPC for the maintenance of FG in all the warehouses including factories and upcountry and publication of stock report. 
    • Ensure Stock is fully insured at all times- For this share stock info on daily basis with Lagos Office.
    • No pilferage or shortage of stock
    • Act immediately on any leakage/damage good to either recover from the transporter or insurance or written off. 

    Logistics

    • Registrations and availability of at least four transporters at each location. 
    • Delivery of material within 24 hours of material availability to customers from depots. 
    • Publication of transport rate card with all concerned every month. 
    • Select carriers.
    • Plan and monitor inbound and outgoing deliveries.
    • Plot routes, and process shipments.
    • Respond to any issues or complaints.
    • Research ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers.
    • Work with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.
    • Update and evaluate metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements.
    • Ensure 100% POD for all deliveries.
    • Update sales team on delivery status on daily basis

    Requirements

    • A Degree with Minimum of Ten (10) Years’ experience in a supervisory role in warehouse operations. Good oral and written communication skills required to effectively interact with both internal and external contacts. Computer literate with required skills in Micro Soft Program Manager, Power Point, and Advanced Excel Spreadsheet

    Job Summary:

    Responsible for ensuring the right products are delivered to the right location on time, to the quality required and in the most cost-effective way. Oversees the distribution and transportation of goods from the manufacturer to the consumer.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Plan, manage and evaluate logistics operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies and customers.
    • Ensure all completed orders are dispatched on time
    • Create and implement best practice logistics principles, policies and processes across the organization to improve operational and financial performance
    • Negotiate rates and contracts with transportation and logistics providers
    • Select carriers/suppliers and monitor service against performance criteria
    • Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery
    • Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports or customer issues
    • Review impact of logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or carriers and report results to others

    Inventory Executive

    Reports to: Head, Distribution Center

    Remuneration: NGN 150,000 – NGN200,000 Monthly Gross

    Job Summary:

    Keeps track of the goods and supplies in a store or warehouse and manages orders to facilitate sales

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Your responsibility shall be customer focused.
    • Responsible for the accomplishment of LAOM Delivery standards and targets as may be set by Management.
    • Responsible for the receipt and storage of incoming items (inbound goods) to  LAO Distribution centre.
    • Manage all inbound inventory of all stocks and staff of the department.
    • Classify the inbound area into product lines & SKUs as required.
    • Responsible for implementation of FIFO and FEFO in the inbound warehouse.
    • Ensure that condition of goods received should be maintained as received, and drive zero level wet and damage stock generation.
    • Have zero tolerance for wet and damage stock.
    • All wet and damage stocks generated in the inbound stores at the point of receipt of goods or generated at the store are to be accounted for.
    • Responsible for all stock entry posting into Navision and reconciling Navision to all available manual records with physical stocks in the warehouse.
    • Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory
    • Use software to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory
    • Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met
    • Report to line manager on stock levels, issues etc.
    • Manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
    • Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
